At TCC, we endeavour to teach all of our subjects from a Christian worldview. 2013 Subject Selection Forms Year 8 The Year 8 curriculum is built around the College's philosophy that in order to effectively choose their electives in Year 9, students should ideally be exposed to each of these subjects in Year 8. The Year 8 curriculum consists of core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Christian Studies and Study Skills) which run for the whole year, and twelve trimester subjects which run for a third of the year, with students enrolled in four trimester subjects at a time. Years 9 and 10 The Years 9 and 10 curriculum consists of core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science and Christian Studies) and sixteen elective subjects, from which students choose four. All electives, as well as Christian Studies, are run as combined classes of Years 9 and 10 students. For more information on each of the subjects on offer, see TCC Subjects. Years 11 and 12 The Senior High years offer exciting opportunities for students to discover what it is that God has gifted them with to leave their mark on the world. TCC is committed to providing Senior High students with individualised and flexible pathways through Years 11 and 12 to life after school.
