High School Learning Assistance

While a specialised Learning Assistance department does not exist in the high school at Toowoomba Christian College, the following subjects are offered to cater for students who need additional support:

• Learning Assistance is offered as an elective subject in Years 9 and 10. This allows students to gain additional time and support to manage the demands of their subjects.

• English Communication is offered as an electives in Years 11 and 12 to cater for students needing additional support to attain the literacy skills needed for the workforce.

• Tuesday Help is a program run after school on Tuesday afternoons in which students can book-in additional one-on-one time with teachers.
