The Learning Support Coordinator and Learning Support Teacher work with parents, teachers and specialists, as required, to assist students with various learning needs and challenges.
Learning Assistance in Years 7 and 8 is currently being trialled in 2015 and has been offered to students needing additional guidance and assistance particularly with their core subject requirements. Additional support is also made available in regards to their transition into High School and the challenges that can come with this.
Learning Assistance is offered as an elective subject in Years 9 and 10, allowing students additional time and support to manage the demands of their subjects.
Tuesday Help is a program run after school on Tuesday afternoons in which students can book-in additional one-on-one time with teachers.
