Sport is an integral part of education at Toowoomba Christian College. Students are encouraged to discover their God given gifts and talents through the opportunities that the College provides. The College is committed to developing quality programs which provide students of all sporting abilities the opportunity to gain confidence and develop competency in skills.

The College aims to achieve this through the following events and programs:

School Carnivals (Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country)
Interschool Sport
Intra-school Sport
Social Sport
House Activities
Regional and State Carnivals

In 2015 the College is running a separate program for Years 7-8 sport and Years 9-12 sport. Years 7-8 will take part in a skill development program aimed at specific sports. The program will run on a Thursday afternoon. The program has been designed to teach the students the skills that they need to participate successfully in our interschool sport program that run in Years 9-12.

The Years 9-12 sport program is run on a Wednesday afternoon and consists of the following:

Terms 1 and 2 - students participate in interschool sport
Term 3 - students focus on Athletics
Term 4 - students participate in a variety of Social Sport options including:

Fitness activities run by qualified trainers
Lawn Bowls
Rock Climbing
Service work at Clifford Park Special School
Swimming, and
Zumba
