TAFE Queensland South West

Students in Years Eleven and Twelve are able to study a nationally-recognised certificate level course through the TAFE Queensland South West while still at school.

Most courses run for two years, so students typically register as part of the Year Ten Senior Education Training Plan (SETP) process.

For more information on school-based subjects currently available from Queensland TAFE South West.

The College's Senior High Non-School-Based Elective Parent and Student Agreement, which needs to be signed by students and parents before a TAFE subject is commenced, can be downloaded by clicking here.

These courses will be promoted to students completing Year Ten and Year Eleven.

For students and families who are interested in part time study and training through Queensland TAFE South West, the 2015 TAFE Course Guide is available for your perusal.  Please note this is not part of the VET in Schools Program.

The University of Queensland offers a 2015 High Schools Program for students interested in completing Certificate II and III in Rural Operations.
